From Ripley, go north on us Hwy 62/68 about 7 miles. [NOTE for first several miles Hwys 62 & 68 run together. When the highways split just south of Redoak, (Hwy. 62 veers off to right) continue on Hwy. 68 toward Georgetown.] Continue on Hwy. 68 to Laycock Road (Township road 233). Turn LEFT on Laycock and follow Laycock approximately 1/10 mile to winery. Distance to Meranda-Nixon Winery from Higginsport is about 16 miles. 937-549-2957 Moyers is located on US Hwy. 52 about 7 miles east of the Simon Kenton Bridge (bridge from Aberdeen, OH to Maysville, KY - also known locally as the "old bridge") Distance to Moyers from Higginsport is about 18 miles. Fine dining & superb wine. Dining hours are 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Mon-Thur and 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Reservations recommended, especially in summer or on holiday weekends.

Higginsport La Vigna Estate Winery will be open Saturdays from Ocober 31, 2009 through November 30, 2009. Hours of operation will be from 12-6. LaVigna's 2008 Proprietary White Wine and their 2007 Proprietary Red Wine will be poured.

Georgetown, Ohio Renascent Vineyards, operated by Tom and Kyoko Crush, resides in and around what the Crushs believe is the oldest continually operated winery building in the United States.
