 The Vintage Lantern is an Antique Shop owned by longtime avid collectors Jamie & Linda Wilson and Joanne Danbury. Joanne has been an avid collector for many years and specializes in finding those most unique items. Jamie's interest and specialty is oil lamps and lighting. Jamie also repairs all types of lamps and provides parts for the do-it-yourselfer.
The Vintage Lantern also offers artwork, including pen & ink scenic notecards of Brown County.

Antique Bar, at the intersection of Washington & Jackson Streets, takes its name from the large, vintage oak bar where local folks and visitors alike gather to watch the "big game" or to pass a rainy day. Antique Bar also serves eat-in or take-out food.375-4771

 Karen's Hi-Port Bar was once owned by Higginsport native, Slim Sallee, the famous left-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds in 1919. Karen's is a lively local bar and gathering place, located at the intersection of US Hwy. 52 and Brown Street.
