The White Oak Creek Marina in Higginsport now has a pontoon boat available for rent.

 The White Oak Creek Marina and Campground, commands a picturesque view of the Ohio River from it's beautiful location at the mouth of White Oak Creek and the Ohio River. The Marina and Campground is open from May 1 through October 31. Seasonal and overnight camping with full hook-ups, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities is available at the campground.

The Marina offers seasonal and overnight off-channel dock slips with electric & water hook-ups and a 4-lane launch ramp which are available on the quiet waters of the White Oak Creek (a call-ahead is recommended, especially on holiday weekends)sanitary pump-out service and off channel gas docks (for ease in docking for fuel) are also available. The launch ramp can accommodate boats up to 36 ft. (cost is $5.00). Cary-out items, ice, pop, snacks, beer and a limited supply of camping and boating items are also available.

Newly remodeled restaurant with outdoor upper & lower level sun decks and a lower covered patio make this a great place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant, serving light fare, as well as breakfast on weekends,
is open Friday 4 - 9, Saturday 8:30 - 9
and Sunday 8:30 - 6.

Professionally sanctioned Bass Fishing Tournaments and Catfish Tournaments are scheduled frequently on this beautiful pool of water on the Ohio River.

 Open from May 1 through October 31, Down by the Riverside Campground, with its beautiful location on a quiet and scenic stretch of the Ohio, is a great spot for seasonal family camping.

Overnight camping is also available. Facilities include rest rooms, showers, and food.

No power plants, factories or city lights nearby or on the horizon to spoil your view, just the broad expanse of the Ohio surrounded by lushly wooded hills of the peaceful river valley. This part of the Ohio River is one of the few with friendly winds, making it conducive to not only power boats but sailing craft as well.

Fishing opportunities abound, for boaters and non- boaters alike, with some of the best fishing in the region in the waters nearby, and at the public fishing area available at the Meldahl Locks, just 7 miles downriver.

At the Lighthouse Marina, fueling is available for both boats and boaters. The floating restaurant, serving everything from breakfast to snacks, to full meals, as well as beer and wine is open Memorial Day to Mid October Monday-Friday 2-10, Saturday 9-10,
and Sunday 9-9.

In addition to its overnight mooring facilities, the Light House Marina has fueling services as well as an expansive boat launch that can accommodate small or large water craft. A public boat launch is available as well for a cost of $5.00.
